Day 01 : Arrival at Dhaka & Excursion to Sonargaon, Murapara Jamdani village & boating on the river Meghna

Arrive Dhaka in the morning immediately transfer to Sonargoan, the old capital of Bengal. En-route visit Jamdani village at Murapara. Then enjoy two hours cruising on the mighty river Meghna by a country boat. return to your designated hotel for overnight stay in Dhaka.

Day 02: Dhaka city sightseeing

8 am & take a full day Dhaka city tour covering the Parliament Building – designed by the American architect Louis I. Khan Central Shahid Minar – the symbol of sacrifice for mother language, historical Curzon Hall (British building) of Dhaka University, National Museum (closed on THU) with rich and rare collections (some of the rare collections of this museum were taken to France for international exposition), Dhakeshwari Temple, the Central Hindu Temple, Star Mosque, Armenian Church & Lalbagh fort (closed on SUN).

At 5:30 pm board on the heritage vessel paddle wheel “rocket steamer” bound to Moralganj from Sadarghat Rocket steamer terminal. Stay overnight at the AC cabin. During this river journey seating on the front deck chair you will enjoy the wonderful scenic beauty and subtle nature of the riverain Bangladesh. Overnight stay on board.

Day 03: On the Rocket Steamer-Hularhat-Mongla-Sundarban3

In the morning you will be staying on the vessel and enjoying overwhelming beauty of the different new raised islands, attracting fishing wooden boats and the primitive and nomadic life style of the fishermen. Reach Hularhat by 10 am and transfer to Mongla to board on the reserve motor boat headed to Sundarban. start cruising towards Sundarbans forest through the great expanse of Pasur river. Arrive Kotka forest station by 8 hrs. depend on tides.

Lunch & Dinner will be served on board. Overnight stay at NON ac cabin of motor boat inside the forest.

Day 04: Full day forest activities at Sundarbans    

Early morning enjoy boating through narrow canals for bird watching. After breakfast enjoy jungle walk towards Jamtola beach & enjoy the forest from the watch tower at Kotka. In the afternoon will start our return journey towards Karamjal and crocodiles nasturtium and birding center. Overnight stay at NON ac cabin of motor boat inside the forest.

Day 05:  Karamjal-Mongla-Barisal-Motor Launch to Dhaka

Early morning enjoy exciting forest hiking and walking through the wooden pathway and the different wild animals. Return back to your boat and have early lunch in the mean time we will start our return journey towards Mongla. Disembark the boat & proceed (5 hrs.) towards Barisal.

En-route visit Sixty Doomed Mosque (UNSCO Heritage site) at Bagerhat.

In the evening board on the Motor launch to Dhaka. Overnight stay at ac cabin of Motor Launch

Day6: Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar

Coxs-BazarArrive Sadarghat river port early in the morning & transfer to bus stand to board on the Volvo bus to Cox’s Bazar. Arrival at Cox’s Bazar in the evening & check in to your designated hotel for overnight.

Day 7: Cox’s Bazar local Sightseeing with beach activities and overnight Volvo bus to Dhaka.

Early morning walk on the beach. After breakfast excursion to Mohshkhali island by speed boat & visit Buddist temple, tribal village & hill top Addinath temple. Return to Cox’s Bazar by noon. In the afternoon take a beach drive by a traditional 4W Jeep to Himchhari Eco park & enjoy sunset from the hill.

Return to Cox’s Bazar in the evening & board on the return Volvo bus to Dhaka. Overnight on board.

Day 8: Arrival at Dhaka – Fresh up and departure transfer to airport.

Arrival at Dhaka in the morning, immediately transfer to your designated hotel for fresh up & breakfast. Free at your hotel till 12 noon.

In time transfer to airport & board on to your onward flight.

 Day 01: Arrival at Changarabandha land border – Rangpur

En-route visit Kantajee Temple & most decorative temple with terracotta arts in Bangladesh. Also visit a local tribal village at Dinajpur. Transfer to your designated hotel for dinner & overnight stay at Rangpur.

Day 02: Rangpur-Bogra via Mohasthangarg

After breakfast visit Tajhat Palace & Museum en-route visit Kali Temple a famous kali-maa-temple-1941293Hindu temple at Rangpur town and a tribal village. After lunch checkout for Bogra & visit Mohasthangarh, the archeological sites of 4 century B.C. Also visit archeological museum & alocal village. Dinner & overnight stay at your designated hotel in Bogra.

Day 03: Bogra-Rajshahi via Paharpur

After breakfast drive to Rajshahi en-route visit a tribal village of Orao community, Paharpur museum & Somapura Vihara, the single biggest Buddhist site of the world 8-12 century. After lunch proceed to Rajshahi en-route visits Kushumba Mosque at Naogan district & Varendra Museum the oldest museum in Bangladesh located at the heart of Rajshahi town, maintained by Rajshahi University. Dinner & overnight stay at Parjatan Motel in Rajshahi.

Day 04: Rajshahi-Dhaka Via Puthia & Natore

Puthia PalaceAfter breakfast check out for Dhaka en-route visit Puthia, the temple city of Bangladesh. Explore the Shiva Temple, Gobinda Temple & the Puthia Palace. Proceed to Uttara Ganabhaban at Natore.  After lunch at local restaurant transfer to Dhaka. On the way enjoy one hour boating on the mighty river Jamuna. After dinner at local restaurant transfer to your designated hotel for a night stay in Dhaka.

Day 05: Departure Dhaka

After breakfast you can enjoy local sightseeing tour at Dhaka covering National Museum (closed on THS) or Lalbagh Fort (Closed on SUN), Dhakeswari, Central Hindu Temple, Pink Palace & museum Residence of Dhaka king’s, Curzon Hall– British Building & science faculty of Dhaka University, Shahid Minar – the monument of language movement, Parliament Building (outside), etc.

In the evening transfer to airport & say GODD BYE.

Day 02: Excursion to Tangail

After breakfast excursion to Tangail to know the Bengoli culture by meeting the locals, 13 MAR 2015 1023who lives on the traditional crafts & agriculture. Here we will explore the villages where locals are engage in their daily life. Making traditional cloths by manual weaving machine (handloom), Making puffed rice, Husking rice by “Dheki” manual paddle & rolling husking machine operating by the local women using the feet & hands, Also visit some show rooms for ‘Sharees’ (traditional women’s wear). Return to your designated hotel in Dhaka in evening.

Day 03: Dhaka- Srimangal                                                                            

6:30 am transfer to Railway station to board on the train (Parabat Express – TUE off) to Srimangal, the tea capital of Bengal. By 12 noon arrival at Srimangal Railway station & transfer to your designated resort for overnight. In the afternoon visit Kondro, Tripura & Monipuri tribal villages. Overnight stay at Srimangal.  Optional activity: Cultural show performed by the local tribes.

Day 04: Srimangal

Proceed to Jereen Tea Estate to explore the Garo tribal village. Return to your resort by noon. Afternoon visit Noorjahan Tea Estate for Khariatribes & Rashidpur Tea Estate to explore the Oraon community.

Day 05: Srimangal-Chittagong

After breakfast & visit BTRI (Bangladesh Tea Recherché Institute) for Mandis community. Also visit Santals village and famous seven colors tea stall. 12:45 pm transfer to railway station to board on the Paharika Express train to Chittagong. Enjoy the train journey will reach at Chittagong by 9 pm & transfer to your designated hotel for overnight.

Day 06: Chittagong-Rangamati

After breakfast take a half day local sightseeing tour in Chittagong including Ethnological Museum at Agrabad. After lunch proceed to Rangamati (77 km) capital for Chakma community.  Will visit Tribal museum, Hill top Buddhist Temple & some Tribal shops for traditional handicrafts etc. Check in to your designated hotel for overnight stay at Rangamati.

Day 07: Rangamati-Bandarban

After breakfast explore the weekly tribal market (SAT & WED) at Banarupa in Rangamati. bandarbanTake a  speedboat to Bilaichhari to explore  the Tanchangya village on the hill & enjoy a fascinating cruise on the blue water of Kaptai lake, biggest manmade lake of this region. Return to your hotel by noon & check out for Bandarbans, another hill district home of many ethnic groups. En-route visit Rangapani to explore a Chakma village &  continue our journey towards Bandarban for overnight at your designated resort for overnight.

Day 08: Bandarban

After breakfast drive to Ruma to explore the Tonchonga & Rakhain community. Return to Bandarban for lunch & visit Local Tribal Market, Golden Temple, the most decorative Buddhist Temple of Bnagladesh on the top of Modi hill & Local museum. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 09: Bandarban

In the morning excursion to Chimbuk hill & explore the tribal villages of Boms & Murong communities. Return to your resort bynoon. Afternoon proceed to Kejang Ghata at Baritoly to explore the village of Marma tribes by country boat. Return to your resort in the evening.

Day 10: Bandarban-Cox’s Bazar & Excursion to Moheshkhali

sonadia3After breakfast drive (4 hrs.) to Cox’s Baza. Afternoon excursion to Moheshkhali island to explore the tribal village, Adinath Hindu temple & Buddhist temple. Return to Cox’s Bazar in the evening. You can enjoy last minuet shopping from Burmese Market, run by the Rakhain community. Overnight stay at Cox’ Bazar.

Day 11: Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka

Early morning beach walk. After breakfast at hotel transfer to bus stand to board on the air-conditioned deluxe bus to Dhaka. Arrival at Dhaka in the evening & transfer to your designated hotel for overnight.

Day 12: Departure Dhaka

After breakfast at hotel free till transfer to Dhaka airport for final departure.
